The aim of word play is to allow people, through
a set of workshops, to creatively engage with the data protection act. It brings a topic concerning the digital into the physical space and encourages them to generate new content and reveal alternate meanings. The word play publication documents the workshops and provides insight into the Dadaist method behind them. It is spiral bound on both the left and right side
to allow the reader to manipulate the order in which
they view the content. On the final page there is a link to www.word-play.work which can be accessed via the powercoat chip. This takes users to a web page where they can drag and rearrange words to construct a new sentence out of the data protection act.
